The Promise
The promiseis a simple way to help young people and adults celebrate their shared Scout values. Every Scout promises to stick by these values when they become a member.
There are four versions of the Promise appropriate to different age groups. There is a Promise for:
- Squirrels,
- Beavers,
- Cubs,
- Scouts, Explorers, Network and adults.
Scouts is open to people of all faiths and of none. We have different variations of our Promise, so everyone can make a Promise that means something to them, no matter their background or belief.
