Our Explorer Unit

Leatherhead Explorer Scout Unit or L.E.S.U. was set up to give individuals between the ages of 14-18 a local progression in Scouting.

It is part of 1st Leatherhead and The Leatherhead District Explorers.  The Unit gets to take part in District Explorer events. The Explorers meet weekly, on a Wednesday night between 7:30pm and 9:30pm.

The unit enjoys a range of weekly meets either at the scout hut or out and about. As a unit, there are a variety of trips planned. The group encourages its Explorers to become young leaders and help with the younger sections, enabling them to support of all sections camps.
