Summer Camp

Date: 14th Sep 2016 Author: Scout Websites
Leatherhead scouts and explorers enjoyed a weeks camping at Beaudesert camp site in Staffordshire over the summer holidays.

They enjoyed a wide range of activities, including Monkey trees, Via Ferrata, Zip wire and Coracling, as well as a day out at Drayton Manor theme park.

Several of the scouts overcame really fears to complete some of the activities, with the star being Katie who, despite her fears gave every activity a go!

The behaviour was fantastic, the teamwork and support for each other was a pleasure to watch, a special mention should go to William whose support for his friends was just amazing.

We were so proud to be away with this group and every leader on the activities commented on what a polite, supportive and fun group of young people our group are.
